It has been a long established fact that when you sell your home you will sell it for more if you use a Realtor. About 16%, according to several studies. The same is true with selling your timeshare.
The first question most people ask when they begin the process of selling their timeshare is “how much is my timeshare worth?” or “what will my timeshare sell for?” While you might not get what you paid for it, it just makes sense to get as much as you can when you sell your timeshare. So the logical choice would be to use a Realtor to sell your timeshare. However, most Realtors may not have the experience or desire to sell a timeshare property located in another state or country or wade through the process involved through the closing. That’s where a timeshare resales specialist comes to your aid.
The Realtors at Stroman Realty, Inc have sold timeshare properties from well over 1,000 resorts around the world. You just can’t beat experience like that. And when it comes to negotiating for you, “Realtors subscribe to a strict code of ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate.” (source)

Can I expect to get more for my timeshare by paying someone on commission than by paying a flat fee?
A REALTOR is definitely the best way to go!
When selling Real Estate, and Timeshare IS Real Estate, (infact, many people refer to a timeshare as their Second Home) the first person that comes to mind is a REALTOR so of course that is who you need to seek when buying or selling a timeshare product. I agree completely with the author of this post. I would prefer having someone who will legally and ethically represent me and keep MY best interest at heart.

I don’t know what to do. I own primo timeshares week 48 and week 52 and I want to get a good price and sell them fast. Any suggestions?
By all means pay the commission!!!! Make sure you get a Licensed Realtor that has experience selling timeshares. There are way too many programs out there and if your Realtor isn’t experienced with the various programs, you could get taken. Any Realtor can sell timeshare but make sure you get a timeshare- knowledgable Realtor. Remember, You get what you pay for!!!
The best way is to list your timeshare online, through a company or broker that specializes in
