One more happy buyer and one more happy former timeshare owner! Today’s featured timeshare sale is of a Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort timeshare in Mesa AZ. The details? It was a two bedroom week 50 (the week before Christmas) annual use ownership. With the buyer in New Hampshire, the seller in Utah, our brokerage in Texas, and the timeshare in Arizona the closing still went smoothly. Westgate resorts declined to exercise their right of first refusal and the new happy owner will be using it in 2009! This timeshare is loaded with great amenities and year round good weather. The world-renowned John Jacobs’ Golf School at Painted Mountain features a resort style 18-hole par 70 championship golf course.
Westgate Resorts still maintains itself at the largest privately held timeshare developer in the US. Westgate timeshares tend to be a good value on the timeshare resales market and are enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of timeshare owners.
Here are some great Arizona timeshare deals for fabulous resorts at a great price: Hyatt Pinon Pointe, ILX Premier Vacation Club, Marriott Canyon Villas at Desert Ridge, Orange Tree Interval Ownership, Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort, Scottsdale Camelback Resort, Sheraton Desert Oasis, Westin Kierland Villas, Wyndham Flagstaff, Wyndham Sedona, and here’s a comprehensive list of 74 Arizona timeshare resorts to choose from!
It is very rare to see Westgate exercise the right of first refusal on any timeshare resale transactions. Unlike other timeshare brands like Marriott Vacation Club and Hilton Grand Vacations, it seems Westgate put the ROFR process in place to keep track of resale’s and simply delay the process of closing. Unfortunately, this is another way in which Westgate impedes there own members and therefore reduces the attractiveness of the overall Westgate product.
fROM THE GIVEN EXPLANATION IT LOOKS THAT IT IS WORTH TO HAVE A TIMESHARE AT Westgate Resorts
Thank you much for that well written post.
