  • “Lots of savvy Hawaii vacationers have discovered the secret that you can get the same quality resort with more space, and for about half of the cost when you rent a timeshare”.– I have stayed in “better” quality resorts, with more space, for LESS than half the cost of a hotel unit. I would recommend having a Realtor find your next timeshare vacation. There are several owners who can’t make their week this year and would be willing to rent it out to cover maintenance fees and administration costs which can still be well below the cost of a hotel unit. Try rentvacations.com, they have a great selection!

There seems to be an inordinate number of units for rent this year. If you can afford the airfare to get there, why not stay longer and get the most for your money. I did that and really had a great time on my last trip. Felt totally relaxed afterwards. Got to know the locals and found things I would not have had time to look for in just one week. I like 3-4 week vacations and in the end you still saved money.

Hotel occupancy down, timeshare occupancy up…there is a reason why. Your so right, renting a timeshare is very economical and a very enjoyable way to vacation. Shopping for it and viewing the owners’ ads; negotiating the bargain rate; using their attorney’s oversight on the rental agreement was all a cinch. Best of all, tho’, the vacation my family enjoyed went off without a hitch. I will definitely be doing that again in the near future!

I went to Kona Coast last year with the whole family.
It was a vacation of a lifetime. We went to the beach and was swimming with the sea turtles. You can go to the black sand beaches, how different, something to see. Or maybe you want to travel the big island by car and see the beautiful waterfalls, the quaint villages and shops. And Kona Coast is a wonderful resort. So nice and clean with tropical grounds, hot tubs, volleyball, golf , activities for the kids, swimming pools and a great staff at the resort. We loved it so much, we are going again in July.

  • great…Hawaii is quite unique don’t you think…must go there..and also enjoy the black sand beaches unique na…i too shocked about black sand beaches….
