My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this timeshare resort the first week of May 2009. This was our first visit to Orlando with a young child that included the Disney theme park experience. We were able to exchange our Mountain View Cottages timeshare for a 2 bedroom lockout through RCI. The resort and grounds are very nice and well maintained. Our overall experience with this Starwood resort in Orlando and RCI was quite satisfying and definitely comparable to other gold crown resorts we have vacationed. The unit was spacious and comfortable with room to spare. The unit amenities were very accommodating as well. The staff at Vistana Villages was very friendly and quite helpful.

Although, the Disney theme park ticket sales representative was a little short when I refused to accept his discount. Of course, the discount being offered included attending a Sheraton owners welcome breakfast. This breakfast was offered very early in the morning and is not favorable to someone interested in sleeping in while vacationing. The landscaping throughout the development is exceptional and very well maintained. Our timeshare unit was a short walk from the swimming pool and restaurant, but the lakes and palm tree atmosphere makes for a nice stroll with the family. Speaking of the pool, the resort offers an extensive swimming area for small children and a beautiful waterfall. In addition, there are ample adult pool areas with private cabanas available for shade and seclusion. There is an onsite eating facility and bar which offers hamburgers and such along with cocktails and beer. You can also purchase other necessities onsite at the store like suntan lotion and soft drinks. We visited the nearby grocery store and prepared our lunches in the unit which has a fully equipped kitchen. We would definitely consider a future RCI exchange to this same resort and other Starwood locations. I welcome any comments from those of you who have experienced this or any other Sheraton timeshare resorts.
