ARDA, American Resort Development Association, is promoting the wellness trend for “consumers who want their vacations to reflect a healthier lifestyle factor.” (press release)
Timeshare resorts are on the fast track to include health and wellness programs that include fitness programs, spa services, weight-loss regimens and other services to create a healthy vacation experience for timeshare owners.

Have any timeshare owners watched “Undercover Boss” lately? Thousands did and hundreds have responded!
The CEO of Diamond Resorts appeared on an episode of Undercover Boss. Mr. Cloobeck later commented to the media that he would refund unhappy owners of timeshares at Diamond’s Hawaii resort The Point at Poipu!
So just what is the beef at The Point at Poipu? Special assessment fees in the thousands of dollars per owner. The timeshare resort charged the owners $65 million dollars for repairs that had gone unaddressed for a very long time. I have seen the photos of the water damage to the soffits at the various buildings. The soffits were missing for so long that birds were building nests in the attic spaces of the buildings.
The ad nauseam part comes into play because of the delay in Diamond Resort’s response to the damages done to the property at The Point at Poipu. The timeshare owners have been complaining to the proper authorities for a long time and the solution? – Fix it and charge the owners anywhere from three to seven thousand dollars each!
Maybe it is time to get out of the timeshare game and sell your timeshare. Sure, someone will buy it – maybe not what you paid for it but at least you will be rid of the headache of dealing with a non responsive and expensive venture.
Sell your timeshare. Be done with it.
